The Joliet Area USBC Association has a scholarship opportunity for any Joliet Area sanctioned youth bowler ages 12 thru 19. Each year we award seven recipients scholarships from $200 up to $800 (a total of $3,500 per year). Don't miss the chance to be one of this years winners.

High School Bowlers
High school bowlers are eligible to bowl in three events during the high school season by using the waiver form. Read all rules thoroughly and submit well in advance. Check the IHSA website for more information.
The Illinois USBC Youth Association offers scholarships each year to reward outstanding youth bowlers, provided they meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must be amateur as defined by the USBC. Only those who have not bowled for money or merchandise prizes in accordance with USBC eligibility rule 400 are eligible.
- The applicant must be 15-19 years of age as of August 1, 2014. USBC members only.
- Awards are given in the amounts of 1st $1500; 2nd $750 each for male and female.
- Applicant must have been a USBC member in Illinois for four years.
- Additional funds may be awarded to male and female recipients.
- Judging is based equally on bowling accomplishments, scholastic ability and community involvement.
