July 2015, Gianna Brandolino competed in the USBC Youth Open Tournament. Gianna dominated the scratch field bringing home the U8 Singles Scratch Girls Championship and U8 All Events Scratch Girls Championship.

Lemont's Kyra Udziela accepts Illinois Star of Tomorrow Scholarship Award
On June 14th in Peoria, Illinois, Lemont Township High School senior, Kyra Udziela was named the 2nd place recipient of the Illinois State Star of Tomorrow scholarship award sponsored by the Illinois USBC Youth Association.
Udziela was chosen amongst a group of applicants based on her exceptional achievements in the classroom, as a bowler and for her various volunteering commitments.
Udziela, is not only an accomplished bowler with various accolades such as 2015 IHSA State Individual Champion, 2014 IHSA SSC Champion, 2014 Sectional Champion, Regional Champion and Team MVP, she has excelled as an outstanding student. She is a Prairie State Scholar, AP Scholar, recipient of the prestigious Premio de Oro award for outstanding achievement in Spanish and a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and National Society for High School Scholars and Model United Nations.
Kyra will be attending St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania this fall double majoring in History and Spanish, in the pre-law track. She also looks forward to competing on the women’s bowling team.
